Poetry on Demand in Princeton
The Creative writers at a Poetry on Demand stand in Princeton (and prepping). The whole idea was to give away free poetry. With a system of greeters, writers, and scribes, the 12 scholars wrote free poetry for anyone who asked. Highlights included a poem for a young girl about a horse, a group of teenage boys (about Ben Folds Five), 2 friends celebrating their birthday's and Christmas (and a friendship of over 30 years) and a man who wanted something about riding his Cadillac down Nassau St in Princeton on a sunny day listening to Johnny Cash.
